Aaron Berman

Aaron Berman (SY '16) is a Global Affairs major from Rockville, Maryland. Concentrating in international development, he is interested in studying the intersection of development policy, economic growth, and healthcare access. In the summer of 2014, he interned at the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico researching barriers to healthcare access in rural areas. He has previously spent time studying Chinese in Beijing as a Richard U. Light Fellow, and he intends to return to China during the summer of 2015 to research migrant health and disease control policy. At Yale, Aaron is an active member of the Yale International Relations Association, serving on its Board of Directors as the executive editor of the Yale Review of International Studies. He also works for the Yale College Dean's Office as a Communication and Consent Educator to create a more positive sexual climate at Yale. After graduation, Aaron will pursue a Master of Public Health degree at the Yale School of Public Health.
